WHAT DO BioRePeelCl3 treatments DO?
During a BioRePeelCl3 treatment, the practitioner applies the peel to the skin, which causes a controlled exfoliation of the outer layer of dead skin cells. This promotes the growth of new, healthy skin cells and stimulates collagen production, which can help improve the texture and appearance of the skin.

The number of BioRePeelCl3 treatments recommended may vary depending on the individual patient and their specific needs and goals. In general, a series of three to six treatments spaced about two to four weeks apart is recommended to achieve optimal results.
DOES IT HURT?
Absolutely not! You may feel a slight tingle but it is not a painful treatment.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
Immediately after the procedure you may have a slightly red glow but you can resume normal activities. After about 3 days you may have some flaking and peeling of the top layer of the skin, similar to what happens after sunburn. Do not pick the skin, just cleanse and moisturise as normal. After about 5 to 7 days your skin will begin to settle.

Before the procedure

To maximise the benefits of the treatments and avoid unwanted irritation and side effects, follow the pre-treatment advice below to prepare your skin beforehand.
1. Don’t exfoliate. The chemical peel provides a deep exfoliation. it is therefore important to avoid exfoliating for at least 1 week prior to your appointment. Watch out for ingredients in your daily skin care products that may have an exfoliating effect before your appointment.
2. Please arrive at your appointment with a clean face, free of make-up.
3. Avoid the sun. Try to avoid the sun/sunbeds prior to your appointment so as to avoid any damage to the skin. Following the treatment, make sure to wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunblock (at least SPF 30).
4. Stay hydrated. Ensure your skin is well-hydrated on the day of your chemical peel by drinking approx 8 glasses of water a day. Likewise, make sure you stop using any products that dry out your skin a few days prior to your appointment.
5. Stop using products containing retinol or AHA and BHA acids (such as glycolic acid) at least 5 days before the procedure.
